The new RIPA website

The Regulation of Investigatory Powers (RIPA) website has a new look and structure allowing you to find all the RIPA-focused content in one place.

We have redeveloped the Home Office RIPA website, it has:

• new graphic design
• new navigational structure

It is also now separate from the Home Office Security website - so that all the RIPA information is now together in one place.

Changes to the website include developing new areas, including:

• the news area  - lists all recent developments and consultations
• the legislation area  - has all the information about RIPA statutory instruments
• the publication section - links to all RIPA publications 
• a new encryption area - has frequently asked questions, and background information about keys and their uses

Please note RIPA forms have been taken off the website, if you need a form please contact the RIPA team directly.
