Home Secretary's response to Lord Carlile of Berriew's second review of the Prevention of Terrorism Act 2005

The Home Secretary has responded to Lord Carlile's second review of the operation of the Prevention of Terrorism Act 2005.

The Home Secretary said "I am grateful to you for providing another detailed review".  "With your valuable input, we will continue to scrutinise the legislation and operation in practice of the control orders system, to ensure that it remains a necessary and proportionate means of protecting the public from terrorism, and that it works as efficiently and effectively as possible"
