Delivering the Prevent Strategy: An Updated Guide for Local Partners
The Government has published guidance for local partners on delivering the Prevent strategy. This guidance builds on The Prevent Strategy: A Guide for Local Partners, published in June 2008.
The key messages from the June 2008 guidance remain current; this document updates that guidance, taking into account lessons learned and emerging best practice, with the overall purpose of helping achieve more effective local delivery of Prevent in communities.
The guide provides information on Prevent for those who are new to the strategy or who are reviewing their existing work; guidance on developing effective Prevent programmes; a summary of official publications on Prevent produced since June 2008; and information on practical support and funding available to local partners.
