New Security and Counter-Terrorism Science and Innovation Strategy
The strategy sets out how we intend to work with our partners in the private sector and academia, with our international colleagues, and within Government, to use science and innovation to strengthen our counter-terrorism capabilities. We will do this in four key ways:
1. By expanding a cross-departmental approach to identifying Government’s counter-terrorism research priorities;
2. By horizon-scanning for future threats and new scientific developments to counter such threats;
3. By working more effectively with business and academia to ensure research is delivered and exploited through the cultivation of a strong and innovative counter-terrorism research market; and
4. By coordinating collaboration with international partners, allowing increased sharing of knowledge and technologies.
