The Foreign and Commonwealth Office represents the UK on matters concerning counter terrorism in the United Kingdom.

The Home Office, wherever appropriate, acts in support of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) as the department responsible for counter terrorism in the UK. Further information on the FCO’s efforts in the international struggle against terrorism.

In the United Nations (UN) we are working to ensure the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1373 which creates legal obligations on all states to crack down on terrorists, their supporters and their sources of finance, as part of an effective UN global counter-terrorism strategy.
