• Home Secretary publishes the Government's response to Lord Carlile's report on Control Orders

  The Home Secretary has published her response to Lord Carlile's report on the operation of the Prevention of Terrorism Act 2005 in 2007. The Home Secretary has also published her response to the report on the renewal of Control Order legislation by the Joint committee on Human Rights.
